Kindergarten Court (children’s book)  Orinda, CA

A humorous picture book that introduces the American judicial system and the concept of bias in a developmentally appropriate way.

Genevieve “Gennie” Gorback is a Jewish-American early childhood educator with a master’s of education in teaching. She writes across kidlit genres, but all of her work comes from a deep understanding of child development. When not writing stories for children, Gennie works as an early literacy curriculum writer, an education consultant, and as the board president of the California Kindergarten Association. Gennie lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, two young daughters, and two cats.
