Lisa DeAngelis’s first novel, Angels Unaware, was published by Regal House. She writes a weekly column for the Bucks County Herald, It’s A Living, about people with unusual livelihoods. Her short story, Luca Brasi Sleeps with The Fishes, was published by the Breakwater Review. Her plays, The Inconvenience of Death and Friendship and In The Secret City were produced in NYC and both won Best Comedy as screenplays at the Houston International Film Festival. She has taught, English, Film, and Crocheting at a prison school for juvenile male sex offenders for 18 years and it’s not as glamorous as it sounds.
