Ta-Nehisi Coates is a national correspondent at The Atlantic, where he writes about culture, politics, and social issues. He is the author of the best selling book, Between the World and Me and the memoir The Beautiful Struggle: A Father, Two Sons, and an Unlikely Road to Manhood.
He is a 2015 MacArthur fellow “genius” grant recipient. He was the Library’s Visiting Fellow in early 2015.
