Winshen Liu is a writer and educator from Illinois. Her poems have appeared in BRINK, Cincinnati Review, Gordon Square Review, The Malahat Review, Poetry Ireland Review, The Rumpus, and Southeast Review, among others. She was selected as a runner-up for the 2023 Lit Fest Emerging Writer Fellowship and shortlisted for the Alpine Fellowship in Poetry and Founders’ Prize for RHINO. Like many, she is grateful for poetry readers and is working on her first novel.
