Ali Maza (they/she/he) is a Venezuelan artist and writer who began sharing her comics publicly in 2018. Since then, they have been published in a comics anthology, The 99, received recognition from thousands of followers for their ongoing comic strips, and were named one of the top three Venezuelan cartoonists in 2023 by a leading national comics organization, Lygno Productions. Ali’s projects include the finished webcomic Duck and Kitten – a comedy about good and evil – and her graphic novel in progress, Only the Good Ones, which portrays the ongoing U.S migration crisis, inspired by her own experience.
