Ben Kim is a television writer who grew up in Georgia, the son of working class immigrants. He served several seasons as a Writers Assistant on Ava DuVernay’s Queen Sugar. Ben has won recognition with Page, the Austin Film Festival, Final Draft, and ScreenCraft. His writing has won Script Pipeline’s First Look Project, and he has developed a television pilot with Giant Leap Media. Ben is a graduate of Emory University and the FSU Film School MFA program. He lives with his wife and two dogs, Dill and Pickles.
