Clementina Ojie is a Nigerian-American writer based in New York and raised in the Nigerian haven of Prince George’s County, Maryland. With the goal of creatively tackling stereotypes about Black and African culture, her works are either set in Nigeria or depict protagonists from the African diaspora. Her personal essays have been published in the Blue Mountain Review and Sky Island Journal. Her TV script was selected as a second-rounder for the 2022 Austin Film Festival and her upcoming Nigerian feature film was selected as a 2023 recipient of the NYC Women’s Film Fund.
