Sabile (Poetry), Berlin, GERMANY
Sabile maps the forgotten deportations of Latvian Jews by the Russian Empire. Combining poetry, prophecy, and family archives, ezell summons the ghosts of forced migration.
“Sabile is a confrontation with that which has been erased. I hope that my project brings together global experiences of dispossession and haunts the reader with the impossibility of return.”
