James McAdams teaches full-time in Purdue’s English and Rhetoric Department and adjuncts at the University of South Florida and Ringling College of Art + Design. James McAdams’ debut short story collection, Ambushing the Void, was published by Frayed Edge Press in May 2020. He is writing a novel about sober home fraud entitled “The Florida Shuffle.” The Florida Shuffle has been workshopped at the “Eckerd Writers in Paradise Conference” and long-listed for awards by Alternating Current Press and Craft Magazine.
