A cross-country photo-essay journey into poverty featuring Zora’s iconic exploration of the depression-era South and Watson’s contemporary profiles powerfully told through his words and images.

New York-born and based in Los Angeles, author, photographer, writer, and director Kim Watson, is committed to using art for social change. He’s written for Hollywood studios, directed 30 music videos, earned numerous Awards and accolades, and received NAACP recognition. His multimedia exhibition TRESPASS, debuted in 2022, followed by a recent 2024 exhibition at City Club LA.
