Cass, A Psychedelic Anti-Western (novel)  Washington, DC

“Cass: A Psychedelic Anti-Western is a dystopian novel that questions mythology, conspiracy theories, cults, gender, and belief all within a surreal, psychedelic landscape. With nudges towards the western genre, Cass is the story of a young woman-turned-outlaw who only wants a moment of peace.”

Nick Rees Gardner is a writer and critic from Ohio and Washington, DC. He holds an MFA in fiction from Bowling Green State University and his writing has appeared in The Adroit Journal, Mid-American Review, Epiphany, Atticus Review, Ocean State Review, and other journals. His novella, Hurricane Trinity, is forthcoming in 2023 from Unsolicited Press and his book of sonnets about opioid addiction and recovery, So Marvelously Far, is available through Crisis Chronicles Press.
