The de Groot Foundation, gave one of the initial challenge grants to launch the creation and building of the Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital to facilitate access to health care services for all Cambodian women and their families. The hospital was completed and opened in 2019. Located in Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh this eco-friendly hospital is one of the first in Cambodia to focus on health care services for underserved women and children.
Because of the overwhelming patient care needs due to the pandemic, Nokor Tep recently become a public Covid hospital.
