Congratulations to COURAGE to WRITE Writer of Note Sakinah Hofler, whose novel Stable is now forthcoming from Henry Holt & Company, an imprint of Macmillan Books!
Playwright, poet, and Princeton University lecturer Sakinah Hofler’s Stable, in which a young mother who has been sex trafficked in Newark, New Jersey, by the man she loves gets picked up by vice cops, sending her precariously balanced life careening toward the brink (via Publisher’s Marketplace).
This is especially exciting, as this is the project for which Sakinah was awarded a grant!
