Congratulations to COURAGE to WRITE grantee Sophia Huneycutt, whose novel The House Built on Alligator Bones is now forthcoming from Dutton Books / Penguin Random House!
In The House Built on Alligator Bones, a woman with a violent past learns she has the chance to inherit her estranged family’s alligator empire in Florida, only to uncover a cursed legacy and long-buried secrets that rekindle her worst fears about her dark nature—and threaten her very life.
This is especially exciting, as this is the project for which Sophia was awarded a grant!
