During his time at the library, Adam Shatz was in conversation with legendary filmmaker Claire Denis and joined writer Jake Lamar in mapping out jazz’s transatlantic journeys from the 20th century to today.
While at the library, poet Christian Campbell joined artist Cornelius Tulloch to explore diaspora through identity, environment, and artistic expression. He and curator Claire Tancons considered the poetics and politics of movement in the Black Diaspora through language, gesture, and migration.
